...and finally the sprint

Show Profile  onemanfanclub Posted: 26 August 2007, 2:33 AM
Start times are published, boys are off first for a change,
Ross (932) 6:32
Chris (945) 6:45
TG last start at (1015) 7:15

Girls (1021-1106) 7:21 - 8:06

Would be good to see NZL at the top of the leader board even if only briefly. But the only starter before Ross is Kiril Nikolov who has been going from strength to strength this week, so might not happen.

In demand for a family dinner tonight, I might have to "come down with something" ;-)

GO ROSS, GO CHRIS!!

Should be a good one, Go for it guys (family might starve until after TG finishes)

Good priorities guys, I wish I could say the same but I WILL be all tied up. Looking forward to reading the Maptalk commentary tomorrow though.

***I would like to thank the person who found my thumb compass out on Pot Luck today, then left it at the map changeover.
I knew where I dropped the thing, but couldn't find it. Thought I'd go back for a look after the race but thanks to some very thoughtfull person I found it at the changeover as I retrieved my map on the way home!
It's not recommended to run without a comass in that terrain. Some legs were very good - it really makes you stay in contact. But when you, like I did a number of times, stuff things up, it can get difficult and messy without the aid of your trusty little friend!

looks like a great run from Chris - will it hold for top 20?

What was the winning time meant to be?
I thought it was 15 usually but they keep saying much longer than expected so was it meant to be 14?
