Nice phrase...
12:55:56 - "Spon we'll know if Finland is holding its lead with Pasi Ikonen on 2nd leg, or if Andrey Khramov RUS has asserted some dominance. Or perhaps someone else has got in front?"

Show Profile  onemanfanclub Posted: 25 August 2007, 3:12 PM
Key threats to NZ from behind, Germany, US, Canada and Portugal are far enough back to forget, barring disasters, Japan could be a nuisance if they run to their best potential.

Targets ahead: Belarus and Israel should get ticked off, if not by Rob then by Chris, Belgium, Austria and Spain are "worthy adverseries", but hope we can reel in at least some of them. Bulgaria should be too good to catch, though they're tantalisingly close, and Poland too good for us to bridge the gap. All the other countries currently ahead probably belong there. But prove me wrong guys, prove me wrong!

In summary 20th, or a place or two better, just within reach, but they'll have to fight hard for it. GO ROB!!!

Show Profile  onemanfanclub Posted: 25 August 2007, 3:16 PM
...meanwhile at the front, Khramov starting to do some damage, and Hubmann ready to pounce on Pasi...

Show Profile  onemanfanclub Posted: 25 August 2007, 3:28 PM
Big changes! Khramov building a big lead, but Nordberg could come through to challenge, and Fin and Switz caught by Sweden, Ukraine and France
