Yeah, but there's a lot of course to go, of course. Upphill will be a podium but do you think it will be a medal??

Just waiting to see if Bobach can come thru for a lead... he needs to come thru soon

Looks like the Bulgarian Christian Boback is 20 seconds up on Uphill going for Bronze at the 2nd spectator.

Simon Hdler is having a problem with the 2nd radio, loosing 10 places

Louis Elson has just finished in a (current) 31st, so it looks like the southern oscillation has swung Australia's way - and all credit to them! Mind you it may have been close in the women, the sum of our top two under a minute behind theirs:-)) I think. Would like those womens results to be updated...

Thmas had a good radio 1-->2 section, around the speed of those finishers currently high 20's.

We're just waiting now to see if Chz Adam Cromy can beat Uphill.... where is he??? He's now out of the medals....
Bobach has picked up a minutes coming to the finish in 3rd,Cromey finishes in 7th ?

Sounds good Michael, I can't see their splits

1:34 update for women shows Vanessa on 1:02:50 in 6th place, and Greta in 16th. And it looks like all runners' results are in. (Try right-clicking on "W20 all stations" and opening it in a new window/tab, so that the frame is its own window, and refreshing that. Works for me...)

Bobach has one minute to come in for silver.... looks like norweigen 1 & 2. Very close times. Now has 2 min to beat Simon Uphill, here he comes, last control.... comming... bronze medal for the Dane

C'mon Kiwis

Thanks John. Revisiting the girls, I reckon that after Greta's great run (hey that's an anagram) Kate Morrison, initially the reserve, is a standout in the top 50. What could Amber have done...

And back to the boys, it doesn't look like Simon's day.

Great results so far. Looking forward to the next race!

Yes Thomas is going very well now and is pulling ahead of his fellow team mates

Yes but lost 20 places in the last third. I know how hard it is to stay on an even keel after problems. Simon seems to have withdrawn. Never mind, the big picture includes more than this race.

Do we get a rest day tomorrow, I didn't get much done today:-))Signing off for now, with the temperature slightly cooler at 8.3 degrees.

Damn, time to head home (who'd have thought anyone sitting in an office on monday would ever think that). Ah well, final results might be clarified by the time I get there...
