Mick was commentating today at the half marathon, here is his little profile which is pretty random and funny.

Ross and I both did 79mins, with Ross getting away from me in the last km. Dougal Thorburn won in 71, and Todd Oates won the all expenses trip to the London Marathon !

And Bill did the marathon as well in just over 3hrs.

He is off to the UK soon to do a murderous 24hr run.

Good one Todd!
Great to see Bill and Ross and Andrew and Todd out there running well on the flat and hard stuff!
And it seems that orienteering is much safer than road and x/c; we were at A&E (our toddler fell on the steps at prizegiving and gashed his eyebrow) - we saw a local Scottish runner there who was fully banged up - with stitches in his forehead, swollen lips and possibly broken nose, bandaged ankle etc all from a collision with another competitor at 5km mark. It looks like he stood on someones shoulders and nosedived onto the ground.
And not forgetting yours truly managed to fall onto a 40cm high fence in Vosseler for a bigger injury than any o race ever (admittedly not a broken leg Andrew!)

Now I know why Ross is so good, he runs with his eyes open. Andrew, I'm afraid there's little hope...

Another part of the strategy, lets him blend in with the snow.
