Yeah, better create another grade for four whole people. Actually, make that two new grades, you better include a W70B in case some of them are new to orienteering and aren't up to red level.
Too bad they didn't get invited, I never got an invitation either.

Everybody got an invitation it was on the web page for a long time
with entry forms and all.
But here is an invitation for you Fraser, I have been told you are living in Invercargill now so you are invited to come to our event at Sandy Point on Sunday. Start times from 1200 to 1300 hrs.

"Everybody got an invitation" so the W70s were invited too then surely!!
Thanks for the invitation, I might have to dust off my compass and see you out there.

Yes sure the W70 were invited but not to enter the class they were entitled to compete in.
According to the NZOF rules womens classes go right up to W90.
There is little work involved in adding another class to the appropriate course.
And to those who grumble about accommodating the older competitors
you may be in for a surprise one of these days because there are moves afoot both here and overseas for special courses to be provided for over 80 year olds. No fences to cross, no stony ground, no undergrowth, no steep hills but maximum technical difficulty to be maintained. In the years to come there will be a lot more people competing in the older age groups and we should do something to make
sure they can enjoy orienteering for as long as possible.

Nah!
Why didn't you run elites this year then? Perhaps you're just not "hard" enough?
So Nah!
