Cyclic Saga

Show Profile  Jenni Posted: 14 March 2005, 10:11 AM
Congratulations to Jamie and Aaron taking out this year's Cyclic Saga!

And by the way everyone should watch out for the very fast Jamie these days - he has won every one of the 5km fun runs over the last 4 weeks! Beating off challenges from Rob J and Aaron a couple of times and Chris too last week! (Maybe Chris has a bit of an excuse as it was still only 10 days after the rogaine)

Im not sared of Jamie Stewart.

Chances are hes gona lose it.

Orienteering takes more than running.

Does our Jamie have the cunning?

Jamie may run fast
But it can't last,
over a flat road race
he does have pace
but on Hawkes Bay hills
he'll go green at the gills.
I wish Jamie had more wit,
then he wouldn't navigate so bad

Well done Jamie for running so quick
In the North we have another as slick
his name is Ross and he ran a one minute fifty nine
so you South Islanders can stick it were the sun don't go

There once was a young man called Jamie.
I wouldn't sleep with him if you paid me.
He is really quick over tarseal chip.
But at Nationals he will get a thrashing.

"Jamie's fit" yeah we've heard it before
Contenders pretenders coming to the fore
A word of advice from an old has-bin
Who cares, just beat the Flynn.

Dear Neil, Brent, Rob and others
Including all your lovers and your mothers

I am under no illusion
That speed on the flat won't stop me losing
But I'll try to avoid others confusion
And come below to some conclusions

Brent it seems is running like a freak
But it seems clear he has hit his peak
And by nationals time he will be sick and weak.

As for Neil "old train hard and slow"
He's the kind of guy you lose to when you blow
As Brent is a hamstrung nag he is a cow!

And you Crawford its nearly smoko
When are you going to stop killing yourself you loco
You are still some use to us for taking a photo.

Love Jamie

There once was man called Jamie
Hes told me Aarons Elbow tastes gamie
Hes quick over 5k
But I still say
That at National champs he'll be lamie.

Whatever happened to Brent?
It seemed he was heaven sent
But he moved in with Flynn
And lost his cheeky grin
Then developed an odorous scent!

Canterbury Champs will be hard.
Especially with a home ad-vant-aage.
Jamie will have trouble.
If he doesn't shave his stuble.
And carrying around all his lard.

Show Profile  Jamie Posted: 19 April 2005, 8:09 AM
Never have I heard the like!
Cept maybe with Rob C on the mike
When Brents "O"ing copped flak
Everyone laughed and clapped
And Brent wished he were elsewhere that nite.

I don't think Jamie your in a position to speak.
Especially after the oceana week.
MP in a relay is worse than me.
You wasted poor Neil's entry fee.
And I think that your a geek

Show Profile  Jamie Posted: 20 April 2005, 3:44 AM
I think I'd like to disagree
MP in the nationals is worse you see
From champ to chump
You came down with a thump
Filling us all with mirth and glee

The Canterbury Champs will be the test
To see if Jamie or Brent is the best
Both have a hairy back
And cop a lot of flack
But Jamie has more hair on his chest

Show Profile  addison Posted: 20 April 2005, 7:23 AM
Neil is the man to beat
With those real hairy feet
When Neils running hot
You both dont have a shot
His peak he is yet to meet

Show Profile  addison Posted: 20 April 2005, 7:27 AM
Some say keep Flynn in mind
But only if you are blind
You need muscle and braun
To beat the flying forne
He will be the winner you will find
