Question from Australian

fraser Posted: 16 November 2000, 3:21 AM   An Australian reader has posed the following question: Standing on one of the three main Islands of New Zealand what is the maximum number of kilometres you can be at any time from the New Zealand coastline as the crow flies? I'm pretty sure the location is down near the bottom of the South Island somewhere. If anyone knows the answer then please let us know.
