This year's event on 12th -13th March is up behind Reporoa dairy factory so we are out of the Taupo gullies. It is rolling to steep farmland with big route choices - think Hawkes Bay like terrain - there are even rock outcrops.
There will be a short sprint type event on the bottom part of the map Saturday afternoon and a score event on the main map Sunday morning, so you can see where you went wrong.
We hope to have the website up soon

What Chris hasn't mentioned is that most of Katoa Po is essentially being held on a NEW MAP. Only the eastern end (The Milky Way portion) has been used for a promotional event

Note: Enter the main Katoa Po event via your club, but not the supporting events (see the website).
