~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi O-runners in New Zealand.
Have you ever dreamed about a orienteering race in the middle of the night, but in full sunlight and in rocky terrain with courses up to 20 km and with a view to giant icebergs then Arctic Midnight Orienteering, AMO, is something for you?
We from Ilulissat Orienteering Greenland would like to invite runners from New Zealand to visit us at AMO.
It takes place in Ilulissat in Greenland from the 1'th to the 4'th of July 2015.
If you are interested feel free to take a look at our webpage http://www.iog.gl/. There you can find the program and so on.
Also find AMO at facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/1443148092617440.
If you have any questions, just ask.
Kind regards. Morten V. Jørgensen, head of Ilulissat Orienteering Greenland, IOG
No unfortunately. Just passing on the invitation.
I did have a look at last year's maps and it looks like fun.
Are you the same Fraser who appeared to be unbeaten in M35 in Oceania:-))
Tasmania was excellent with great maps and courses. That will be my only overseas trip this year.
Come on Fraser, Aus Champs is a must do week of orienteering in Victoria, late September/early October. I can even assist with logistics again!!
See if you can stay unbeaten.
If Fraser comes across to the Aus Champs, I will run M35 just so he doesn't stay unbeaten
I must admit Aus Champs is tempting. And it was a pity you didn't make it to Tasmania Jymbo.
What about the Oz MTBO Champs in November Fraser? With Adrian Jackson pursuing XC, Alex Randall announcing his retirement, and Ricky Thackray concentrating on his comedy career on Attackpoint, we need you in Mens Open. Don't tell Jymbo, he might have time to learn to ride a bike.
