Kiwis Win Australasian Rogaine Champs

Michael Posted: 12 October 2014, 10:58 AM   Georgia Whitla and Greig Hamilton have won the Aust Rogaine Champs on challenging spur-gully terrain near Castlemaine. A deserved win after both were handicapped by different partners' sickness problems at the worlds in August. Titleholders Rob Jarvis and Phil Wood were 4th overall, 1st open men and 1st vet men. Viv Prince with Aussie Richard Robinson won mixed super-vet (55+) while followers would not be surprised to hear that Bill/Ann Kennedy and Peter Squires took the mixed ultra (65+). There were about a dozen kiwis.
