Just a reminder to those interested the World Uni's kick off on Tuesday with the sprint relay being the first event, followed by the long on Wednesday.
Good luck to our team over there and race well. The recent JWOC results will be a hard act to follow. From what I hear there has been some pretty serious training going on prior to the official training days, so they should be well versed in what to expect.

NZL 16th and AUS 19th. Looks like Martin Hubmann did something pretty special on leg 2 for the Swiss, picking up over a minute over the rest of the field. NZ were in 11th after first and second legs, good runs from Laura and Gene. Go Kiwi!

I see Laura was was leading at the first radio although not by much but it gave them a good start. Long tonight this time at a more decent hour.

Anyone seen the map for last's nights men's long. Over 12km 680 climb and still getting around in under 7 min km's. Leg 2-3 and 19-20 interesting ones.
According to Matt he was feeling pretty flat. Maybe time for him to come home to mum's cooking, have a bit of a break and freshen up before Tasmania.

Yes both Matt, Gene and Laura had good runs. Men's relay could be interesting. I would imagine Toby would get the nod. The JWOC relay team from a few years ago.
