W70 counted as half a point.   Michael Posted: 28 January 2014, 2:21 AM   Carnival instigators Rob Garden and Marquita Gelderman have taken a rest - by riding the Ak Attack 8hr MTB Rogaine. This is in the 4-500m hills between the Hutt Valley and Kapiti where the gruelling Karapoti Classic takes place. Rob and Jamie Stewart posted the winning score, Marquita riding with Nick Collins was 5th. M20 reps Liam Paterson and Tom Spencer were 3rd. Results and winning routes at www.akattack.org.nz
