OK - what is the most unbelievable sporting occurence of the weekend?
The Warriors winning?
Sunline losing?
David Brickhill-Jones coming fourth in a World Cup race?

David did well to win his heat (thus beating Carsten twice!) and then be only 0.2 secs off the podium in the final! Link
The Brisbane Lions won the AFL flag... so at least some sports results from the weekend made sense!

Grant winning the World Games would probably rate as the best ever Australian performance Jamie. Doing well in Sprint and Short races is great but I personally don't think it rates as well as doing well in a classic length race.

Yes, about 50 in each of the women and men. But he did beat all the best scandis and euros. Although maybe it wasn't so great as we weren't represented ;-)
