I note that Eskil is in the Norwegian squad that had earlier announced that they would be returning home straight after the World Cup and not hanging around. If Eskil is staying for STB might we hope to add to the World Champions list with an entry from Olav Lundanes as well?

IMPORTANT INFO
With STB closing in fast, we thought wed better fill you in with a little more info:
Event Registration & Model Event 4pm - 7pm, 14th Jan: This will be held at the STB headquarters at 24 Tauroa Road, Havelock North. The model event is free for everyone and is a good chance to get your eyes used to sprint scale again after the Oceania Carnival. The model event starts and finishes at STB HQ. Maps can be picked up when you register. We ask that everyone attend event registration on the 14th due to the early start on the 15th. Here you will be able to pick up your race-packs with some goodies inside, your SI cards (if youre hiring) and also for foreign competitors to make payment if they have not yet done so. The event registration will be poolside, so bring you swim-suit for a quick dip after ripping around the model event.
Event Bulletin: This year we will be printing the bulletin as a facing-page magazine/booklet with all the important race/stage information. This of course is optional for competitors and people will also be able to download the bulletin for independent printing. We were able to negotiate a good deal with one of our awesome sponsors Copy Plus to get the cost of the bulletin down to $5. Due to its size (and heavy content), the cost will not differ much from printing independently on an inkjet printer. We ask that each STB group either purchase or download/print at least 1 bulletin to avoid any confusion during the busy STB competition period. If you wish to order a bulletin, please do so before the 8th of January here: http://www.sprintthebay.org/entry/bulletinorderform.html In the meantime, basic event information is available from the event info section of our website here http://www.sprintthebay.org/information/stb2013.html.
Start Lists: The start list for Stage 1 at Woodford will be available closer to the event (as we are still accepting late entries). Start lists for the following stages will be formulated from overall event standings after each stage and will be posted at online (and in the event centre) as soon as they are available.
It looks like its shaping up to be a very hot/dry summer here in Hawkes Bay, so remember to pack the appropriate gear lightweight breathable running gear for competitions and also sun protective clothing/hats/sunscreen/fluids for between stages and while spectating.
Keep checking our News Feed/FB page/Twitter/Website for the bulletin coming out soon, and Woodford start-lists to follow.

Really appreciating the quick results on winsplits, and looks like some really competitive grades.
Wish we were still on holiday and part of the carnival which really was outstanding.
