Heard of CoachCorp?
CoachCorp creates relationships between companies and community sport to get more people involved in sport and physical activity. If your employer is part of the CoachCorp programme, you can apply to have flexi-time off to coach, manage or be an official at school or club sport level.
Orienteering is on the list of sports available.
With a great employer I've found it excellent to be involved in and it has given me the flexibility (and time) to contribute to KiwiSport orienteering in our local schools and take on the secondary schools role at a national level.
