ANOC 2012 - THE AFTERMATH NORTHERN ORIENTEERING CARNIVAL
Nationals not enough orienteering? Want more? Stay one week longer following the 2012 National Orienteering Championships hosted by North West for a midweek training camp and a 2day competition the following weekend.
Will be organised by Orienteers in Auckland as a FUNDRAISER for those travelling overseas to compete at JWOC, WUOC and WOC in 2012.
The programme:
Midweek trainings in Woodhill Forest. High quality sand dune maps with specific training exercises designed to improve your orienteering.
ANOC:
Saturday (14th April): Kiwi Tahi mixed middle. NEW MAP!!!! Has not been used for over 20 years.
Sunday (15th April): Slater Road Mass Start Long. True test of your navigation skills with special map features including contours only!

Are the mid-week trainings in the evening, or do I need to get some time off work?

There is a night sprint on the Wednesday, with training on Tueday, Wednesday, and maybe Thursday, so take the week off and get into full on orienteering mode.
