At airport departure lounge now heading over in about an hour. Just wanted to say thank you to all those that helped us with our many questions. And by the way say hello to Mapgirl and myself if you are at any of the events.
How will you know us?
We will be the Aussies (from Newcastle) that are struggling on the the hilly areas, or struggling on the technically challenging areas or stuggling on the technically challenging hilly areas.
Basically we will just be struggling -but enjoying it immensely.
For those still here and still interested our very rough itinerary is; Auckland-Corrimandel-Port Waikato-East Cape-Hawkes Bay-National Park-Taupo-Rotorua-Auckland....but still fine tuning. This will get us to 6 events hopefully plus a lot of sightseeing and maybe even a few walks.

Next time my wife accuses me of cramming our road trip I'll show her this and that it will be fine. See, it's quite normal!
Enjoy your cruising and don't forget to smell the roses.
We'll all be struggling up the hills so it might be easier if you just wore a hat with corks on it.
