Entries close in one weeks time - on Friday 24th September. Postal entry form available for download on website. Events include: ================ Friday 8th October 3 race multi-mini-sprint Saturday 9th Double Middle Distance(TONIC) Reverse chasing start starting from 1:30pm Sunday 10 October 2010 Long Distance (Auckland Champs)   onemanfanclub Posted: 20 September 2010, 12:05 PM   will it be possible for out-of-towners to enter the friday event on the night like it was last year?   paultheOctopus Posted: 23 September 2010, 5:35 AM   How could there be a Tonic without the oneandonlyonemanfanclub. Since you are so special I'm sure it won't be a problem, sending a bottle of red my way may help, although I should mention I have nothing to do with Tonic or Akld club for that matter.   Rog Posted: 23 September 2010, 6:06 AM   onemanfanclub, yes entry on the day will be available. For the forest events, on the day entries will also be available and running unofficial. Please email us if possible to let us know. If a large group (like a youth group or school etc.) is planning to come along to the events, or would like to - they are very welcome - please email us, auckoc [at] hotmail.com to let us know so we can plan ahead and ensure we have enough maps printed. I apologise for this error; I supplied an earlier version of the event file for uploading, and the courses were subsequently updated. I'm told that we'd lose the routes already posted if we reloaded it, so I think it's best to go with what we have.   pete s Posted: 11 October 2010, 8:48 AM   Does that give an advantage to those people that visited that site but couldnt find a control Jeff??!   jeffg Posted: 11 October 2010, 9:24 AM   Er, maybe an armchair advantage Pete, provided they didn't make a mistake straight afterwards: it'd look like they spiked the control then had a brain meltdown. Nice run for an injured man BTW. Looks like the rest of the field fell for the fake bandage trick and were a bit complacent :-)   pete s Posted: 11 October 2010, 10:10 AM   I think it was the squirt of Voltaren gel I put in Guys coffee which did it Jeff - relaxed his brain too much!
