A bit of an aside, but the link is France. See http://iof.6prog.org/WR_Event.aspx?EID=1759 I think Lizzie is still recovering in Welly, Todd was carrying the flag.

Coverage seemed pretty good from what I saw thanks Alistair - even on the iPhone.

Yeah, thanks Alistair. Think I spotted Todd in the coverage starting - had it on in the background for a while. Nice footage especially when they started to change to multiple cameras giving different areas.

Wasn't Todd going to race the World Cup in Switzerland at the weekend? Can't find his name.

Show Profile  Lizzie Posted: 12 October 2010, 5:43 AM
nah the swiss races were only for the top 30 or so ranked in the world cup, so Todd decided to save money and head back to Britain i think.

The Norges training in France for WOC11 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jYlV1ZRkPM the terrain looks awesome!

I didn't go on that area. The places we went training were steeper and more technical but the main difference was the runnability. The training ares we were told were most relevant to WOC were incredibly rocky underfoot. You spend most of your time looking at where your feet are going to go! It's ankle busting stuff. A guy in the French squad did a test race on one of the relevant areas and did 12 minute kms... It's the kind of place that will find any weaknesses in you.
