Team Macpac Girls on top got the worlds flashest letterbox bonus points which allowed them to move ahead of 7in7. But they werent counting on the awesome counting skills of Demon Monkeys who were the only team to attempt to count the orange marker posts on the Bethells/Muriwai coastal track and Nailed it for a full 200 Bonus. No mean feat in the dark....

Incase you were wondering...
There were 56 orange marker posts between CP 65 and 66
The worlds flashest wooden letter box was located down the hill towards CP110
The bonus grafitti was on the cliffs on the track between CPs 69 and 84.

And speaking of no mean feat....
CPs 144 and 113 proved to be the major talking point of the night. I was beginning tho think they were missing in action. I can however tell you that Teams Nga Rakau B and 7in7 got both and 4 other teams got 1. Yes they were hard, but not impossible :o))

A few teams to mention....
Two kids and a Criple.....for some very imaginative answers! Yes, sheep do have tails on this farm :o))
Fisher and Paykel Healthcare and Will be walkers. Both first time Rogainers and choose night time to give it a go! Good stuff..
Allan Janes. Thanks for Helping Will be walkers out....
Sue'n'Rob...all the way from the 'naki. Top effort that....

And to everyone, thanks for making this by far the best 12 hours I have spent in a carpark!

It was one heck of a swampfest if you tried crossing south to north. I'm probably still stinking from it! Great event, thanks Tony.
