Is there anyone going who will be travelling from or through Palmy after 4:30 on the friday? Who would like some pleasant company (not me, obviously) for the trip?

Is anyone driving down from Auckland, leaving after 5pm on the Friday and with a spare seat in their car? If so, can you give me an email if you're able to give me a ride? nzrnnr at gmail dot com

Thanks, Mike

Hey Guys

Change to events

Due to the superior awesomeness of the Woodford Iona map this has been saved for National Championships 2011. We have moved to the map that was going to be used for Nationals, E.I.T which is of sugar free equal awesomeness and pratically brand new. This event will switch stage numbers with Frimley which will now be on the Saturday evening. So your new timetable looks like this:
Friday
Havelock North Village
Saturday
Arataki
The Reserve
Frimley
Sunday
E.I.T
Napier Boys High School

Hi.

We are two danish guys, who are planning to participate in sprint the bay.

We have just got a little problem. We can't find any accomodation. So we were hopping that someone in here maybe could help us a little bit.

We are open to almost everything. Couches, tent in a garden or even a luxury bed.

If you think you can help us, mail us at kasper@fjellerup.dk
or phone: 226804424

Hi Kasper,
it looks like the general concensus for 'homeless' out of town orienteers could be the Hastings Top 10 Holiday Park, located very close to most events. If you have no tent (or no couch offers) you might be lucky enough to get a cabin if still available. My family and I stayed there on our last O trip and it was ideal.

ps; I just checked, there are no cabins left but there are tent sites. If you don't have all the camping stuff I'm sure I, or someone else could lend you something for a couple of nights.
