With many clubs now using Sport Ident the sale of clip cards to clubs has fallen to a tad under 50% of what was happening several years ago. Interesting to note that many clubs that have Sport Ident are still using/ordering clip cards.
With the lower volume of sales and having thousands of dollars of stock sitting longer on the shelf it was inevitable that the cost of the cards was going to increase. As TOC now prints fewer cards this has also contributed to a price increase. It is probably only a question of time before the range of 6 colours will be reduced too.
Clubs will be notified of the new clip card costs (if you haven't already been). The new print run will force a price increase. Prices have remained static for the last 4 years.
After handling nearly quarter of a million cards over the last 15 years I am no longer handling clip card sales. Lyndon Haugh is now processing orders. Contact him via the TOC Secretary.
TOC will continue to supply clip cards to Clubs and other organisations for the forseeable future.
