Local Sports Awards

Here in Counties Manukau Val Robinson won the Administrator of the Year award for her tireless work around the Franklin Primary Schools (for all sports, not just O) while Trish Aspin was a finalist in the Masters category (again).   Martin Posted: 2 December 2008, 6:45 AM   Also at the Counties Manukau Sports awards: Lachlan Caudwell, Hiraku Walley, Tyne Wijdeven (Bombay School Yr 7&8 Orienteering Relay Team) were finalists in the Junior Team of the Year Greta Knarston was a finalist in Junior Sportswoman of the Year A number of counties manukau orienteers were also included on the CM Sport Roll of Honour - this is for athletes and/or teams who have won national titles or individuals that have made national teams in the past year.
