Major Events Timing

addison Posted: 20 April 2008, 12:37 PM   For those that weren't at the AGM & Fixtures Meeting last weekend, basically a few things were discussed. Firstly, the CD isn't going to be hosting Nationals next year. A couple of clubs are going to be approached about filling in this void. Secondly, almost all regional championships will be moving towards the end of the year again. This is what I would like to have debated. Is this a good idea? Have numbers been affected by having events in the Autumn instead of Spring? How much has it helped our HP people having these events in Autumn in the build up to Europe?   Martin Posted: 21 April 2008, 11:53 AM   Numbers have been affected by having so many major events in such a short period of time. I don't think it can be blamed on the Autumn shift, just the close timing. It's probably premature asking the Europe question, those facts will be known closer to July.
