Chris 36 minutes. Not 7th because a number of those runners with time still ticking away have finished. So probably not in unfortunately.

Audio down again, same problem, spent last 10 minutes trying to kick it back into life. Anyone with it or any other source got news of Tania?

I've figured it out, the audio goes down whenever there's a kiwi due in. I was just thinking Rob might be finishing about now, and down it went.
And there were just 2 more women out who could beat the 15th place holders, so Per will have time to rattle through the finallists while I'm trying to get him back. This is not funny!

In her heat, I mean.
And Ross 7th!!! Great stuff.
Hanny Allston and Julian Dent were 2nd and 3rd(!!!) in the same heats, and I think the other Aussie girls got through - wasn't listening specially for them.

bit of funny reading off Hannys blog about long Qual
So, what would be Hanny’s suggestions for future races of such a kind?
1. Start the race in a military tank to get a feel for the terrain.
2. Take a mountain mule over the steeper hills.
3. Use snow shoes to cross the deeper gullies so as to avoid sinking up to your knees in the foul mud.
4. Once settled into the race transfer to a bulldozer so as to remove the vegetation.
5. When nearing the finish remove a clothes peg from you pocket and apply to you snout.
6. Remember to have your strong cup of tea in the morning… gosh knows, maybe forgetting that this morning was my biggest error of the day.
