gotta point out kates races as well to top 50's, outstanding result normally for a kiwi...but for a W16 (or first year w18)!!!

man that coverage is good, although it is driving me a bit mad...looking forward to the relay

And seriously the girls times in the B final are very very good too. It will be interesting to compare courses to the A final.

My amazing prediction...The relay will be completely mad!

hi Jamie

Sorry to miss the action, but when a new MTBO course planner wants to put the circles on the map you just fit in. She's a police SAR specialist too, very handy.

Bloody good everyone (including Tom if his error involved a similar distance). And my calcs for the C'wealth comp (sum of best two) we have GBR in the men and NZ IN THE WOMEN by 10sec! The southern oscillation moves southeast...

In the Middle qualifier Greta "ended up with a mp anyway after a control didn't register" ... Maptalk News. Is there a suggestion that she was there and the control didn't work? Or was she just too quick with her e-stick? C'mon team blog give us the story behind the results, I'm sick of looking at the photo of the opening march!

I know what you mean Michael. Who has injury issues etc.
Simon are you busy practicing for next years boozo or what?

Also looking forward to seeing and hearing about results of todays Western Plains Challenge 2. Many kiwis sound like they are having good runs to date.

Your powers of persuasion are amazing Michael. Both the Blogspot and the news are giving us at home some more feedback.

Don't you just wish you were there, even if it was just to get the T-shirt!

Personally with all these distractions I'm strangely and somewhat ironicly quite unmotivated to do any training.... It's too dam cold too. Am I alone with this poor attitude toward improving my physical prowess during this interesting times

What was Aidens Two Boulders story? C'mon.........

I ordered a supporters t-shirt and didn't get one. They'll be worth millions now.
I think the live (audio) commentary team has done an excellent job; just shows that the coaching they got from Mick and Simon has paid deevidends.

the maptalk news post was incorrect about greta's mp. team blog www.nzorienteering.com/jwoc2007 is almost up to date now

Thanks bloggers. Just a hint that we know all the placings and times, so no point in repeating stuff that is on the official website. It's the stories behind the numbers that we're hanging out for. The why rather than the what.

Thanx Martin. The Relay teams look primo.

Paul sounds like you ordered a supporters' tee-shirt too? I suggest you stop sitting around bare-chested waiting for it to arrive and put on a nice warm top. Do they sell thermals up there in Auckland?
